Plant-Based? Where Shall I Start?

Dr. T. Colin Campbell, PhD has been at the forefront of nutritional research for the past 60 years.  He directed the China Project, which spanned multiple decades in China and derived thousands of statistically significant correlations between diet and disease.  This ground-breaking study was perhaps a world record, conducting observational research that encompassed the diets and lifestyles of hundreds of millions of people. Together with his son, Thomas Campbell, MD, they published The China Study.  This is a book that is an absolute must-read for those who are interested in facts.  This was a perfect study because of China’s population of nearly 1 billion people, the tendency for people to stay in one location, and the lack of transportation meant that available foods were localized.  They noticed that diseases were confined to certain locations, which meant that it was diet, not genetics, that was responsible for disease.  The Campbells founded The Center for Nutrition Studies (CNS) and many helpful articles may be found here:

There is also a very fun website by Dr. Michael Greger, who spends much of his time combing every English-speaking medical journal and writes articles and makes small videos about the latest in nutrition.  These videos are short, catering to many members of the public who have the attention span of a fruit fly.

You have the ability to browse videos by topic, and many of them are from 30 seconds to 10 minutes in length.  The exciting information can be found here:
