Snack Ideas

This Whole Green Wellness article gave me a lot of ideas, but I intend to add to this list!

 

Carrots, celery, and hummus
Celery & peanut butter
Apples & peanut butter
Oranges, bananas, pineapple, and coconut shavings
Veggies & guacamole
Zucchini & refried beans
Bananas & peanut butter
Strawberries, blueberries, and apples
Hummus & toast
Avocado on toast
Wheat crackers & cheese alternative (If you haven’t tried Chao, you must!)
Oatmeal, walnuts, raisins, and flaxseed
Oats, bananas, walnuts, cinnamon, and maple syrup
A banana half on a leaf of lettuce with a dollop of plant-based mayonnaise, a dollop of peanut butter, and topped with several shelled roasted peanuts (for garnish) (obviously this one isn’t low-fat, but it is sort of healthy!)
Flax English muffin topped with a very light spread of plant-based mayo and tomato slices
Tortilla with beans, tomato, avocado, and lettuce
Whole wheat bagel and plant-based cream cheese (I absolutely love Kite Hill in any of their flavors)
